Booking

A 25% non returnable deposit is required when you book your sailing course. The balance must be paid 6 weeks prior to the start of the course. If a booking is made within 6 weeks of the sailing course date, full payment is required at the time of booking. Guarenteed pass excludes Yachtmaster Coastal and Offshore examinations and is restricted to RYA Day Skipper & Coastal Skipper courses and only applies to students who have completed RYA theory and have the recomended previous experience.
 

Cancellation

If for any reason Broad Reach Sailing has to cancel a course, an alternative date will be offered or full refund of all monies paid given, this will be done within 14 days of notice of cancelation. This will form the limit of our liability. Students who cancel within 6 weeks of the course date will be liable for the full course fee, unless Broad Reach Sailing is able to fill the space (this assumes the course is fully subscribed), in which case all monies paid less initial deposit will be refunded. No refund or part refund can be given if students leave the sailing course prior to completion.
 

Complaints

Should you have a reason to make a complaint, please make it known to your sailing instructor at the earliest possible time. We would like the opportunity to deal with any complaints at the time they arise so we can rectify them immediately. Should you feel your complaint was not dealt with satisfactorily please contact the school principle, Simon King on 0239 3000 300. If you are still not satisfied the way your complaint was dealt with you may the refer your complaint in writing to training manager, Royal Yachting Association, RYA House, Ensign Way, Hamble, Hants SO31 4YA.
 

Insurance

The yacht provide by Broad Reach Sailing is fully insured against accident, third party liability and personal injury arising from neglect by Broad Reach Sailing. We accept no liability for personal accident or loss or damage to the property of the client. Students are advised to take out their own appropriate holiday insurance to cover these eventualities and cancelation charges.
 

Privacy

We do not store credit card details nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties.
 
Occasionally we may use photos in promotional material or may contact you regarding forthcoming events and promotions, if you object to this please let us know in writing.
